Chang Gung University (CGU) is a thriving residential campus and community. It sits on 37 acres of foothills and plain at the rim of Taipei City. Living and learning are intimately interwined at CGU. Extra-curricular programs, organizations, performances, forums and athletics beckon students, faculty and staff, as well as neighbors from the communities around us.
CGU is a residential university, with over 4400 undergraduates and 2300 graduates living on campus. Students have access not only to the extraordinary resources on campus but also to the Great Taipei City Area's many cultural and outdoor attractions.
Art & Culture
CGU has a rich tradition of fostering creativity and the arts. Among many programs open to the public are CGU Arts Center, who bring renowned performing arts to campus, and the Formosa Plastic Group museum, our world-class museum.
The open hours of CGU arts center are am 8:30 to pm 5:00 Monday to Friday, while the FPG museum opens am 9:00 to pm 6:00, Tuesday through Sunday. All are welcomed to visit free of charge.
Athletics & Fitness
CGU students compete in varsity sports. In addition, students, faculty and staff can participate in intramural sports and physical education courses, and enjoy state-of-the-art recreational facilities. The annual permit to the Fitness Center is available to all CGU faculty, staff and students at 600 NT a year. For more information, please contact the CGU Athletics Department.
