The following outlines various arrangements for this year's commencement ceremony. Participants are kindly requested to adhere to the event schedule and arrive punctually.
1. The commencement rehearsal is scheduled for May 31 (Friday) at 15:00 in the gymnasium on the third floor of the Activity Center. Award recipients and student representatives for the tassel-turning ceremony are requested to assemble at the gymnasium on the third floor of the Activity Center at 13:50. Volunteer service students are asked to gather in front of the Student Affairs Office on the second floor of the Activity Center at 14:00.
2. The commencement activities will begin on June 1 (Saturday) at 10:00, with the president leading senior supervisors to guide graduates on a campus tour. All graduates should gather at the plaza outside the International Conference Hall at 9:35. The ceremony is scheduled to start at 11:00 in the gymnasium on the third floor of the Activity Center. After the campus tour, access to the ceremony venue will be regulated. Graduates are requested to adhere to their assigned entry times to ensure orderliness at the venue.
3. The commencement is a significant celebration for our graduates. We encourage students on campus to participate in the ceremony by offering bouquets, balloons, cards, and best wishes to the graduating seniors along the “Campus Tour” route from the plaza outside the International Conference Hall to the Activity Center at 10:00 on that day. Your support and participation will make this day even more memorable for our graduating students.
4. To facilitate the campus tour and dispersal on the day of the ceremony, traffic control measures will be implemented along the tour route. Please note that parking on both sides of the route will not be allowed during this time. Your cooperation in adhering to these arrangements is greatly appreciated.
5. If the campus tour is canceled due to rain, graduates are requested to proceed directly to the third floor of the Activity Center and take their seats before 10:25. Please note that seats will not be reserved for latecomers. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
6. The graduation ceremony is a significant assembly event intended to create cherished memories for graduates. As a formal event, graduates are expected to dress formally, wearing academic regalia and appropriate footwear, such as dress shoes or high heels. Sandals, sneakers, or jeans should be avoided.
7. Graduates are kindly reminded to inform their parents that professional personnel have been arranged to take photos and record videos during the ceremony. Please do not walk around or take photos during the ceremony to maintain the solemn and dignified atmosphere of the venue. Relevant images will be uploaded to the graduate service website after the ceremony for download.
8. The campus tour location map and the venue seating chart are attached. We kindly ask all participants to review them carefully and acquaint themselves with the relevant locations to ensure the smooth execution of the event.
